For the last 51 years Vans has continued to revolutionize the world of skateboarding with the powerful and versatile waffle sole grip. Yet, for as many years as Vans has been in business, the power and versatility offered by the waffle sole design has only remained present in the minds of the skate community. To promote their newest Classic Pro line and communicate the presence of the waffle sole to a more wide ranging audience Vans will partner with the MTA to make the first seamless means of transportation for the non-skaters.
As a promotional means of advertising their Pro Classic line of sneakers this experiential venue would be created and open to the public within NYC subway cars and on various MTA lines.
